OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Fine and rare, circa 1920, gilt bronze-mounted and glass. Reputed to be set with Quezal glass, the panels uninspected for signatures, the tapered inside lighted pendant with striated opaline glass inset sides, each of the six corner points hung with a tulip-shaped feathered glass iridescent opaline shade, each reportedly signed with Quezal script, with upper and lower bronze plate borders. In the beautiful and rare blue color. Ceiling mounting cap is contemporary, overall the condition is exemplary, and it appears to have been restored and rewired. The glass appears to be in very good condition as well. 36x60 inches. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
