Mahogany, late 19th century, J.J. Elliott, London. In a traditional George III Style Adamesque carved case, with urns, a scallop shell, garlands, a swan's neck cresting and paw feet; the dial with painted moon phases, above a silvered chapter ring, gilt spandrels and a strike/silent option, five tubular bells play a Westminster chime. In excellent condition. 24x104x18 inches.
