Louis XVI Style Patinated Metal, Gilt Bronze and Marble Mantle Clock
Circa 1920. Clock movement with impressed numerals and a French Horological seal, the classical female muse rests upon the clock drum which supports a lyre, the rectangular marble base with gilt bronze applied foliate scrolled mounts. In good condition. 18x13x6 inches

Circa 1900. Figure of a seated poet, signed by Eutrope Bouret (French, 1833-1906), sits atop a shaped gilt-bronze mounted marble base, set with a circular clock face, and signed A.D. Mougin. Possible association between figure and marble base; figure separates from clock base. 18x32 inches
