The Regina automatic disc changer using 27-inch discs is the top of the line in the series. It stores 12 discs in a rack and plays them automatically in sequence. This is one of the most famous instruments in the field and has been in great demand for generations. The book by Helen and John Hoke, Music Boxes, Their Lore and Lure, tells how the Hoke family obtained such an instrument (in an old castle, of all places!) and brought it into their home, where it was enjoyed by friends and neighbors as well. With its double-comb mechanism and rich sound, this disc music box comes with a dozen 27-inch discs and is presented in a lovely, ornately carved original wood case. It is in nice playing condition. 45x73x23 inches.
