An exceptional, fully restored piece, this "celeste" cylinder music box would have been built by a leading Geneva-based manufacturer for a wealthy private residence. It features 14-inch long cylinders and two drawers containing eight matching cylinders, whose tunes are enumerated on the original tune cards. It is believed this instrument was custom-made with a reed organ in addition to the ten cylinder bells. The professional restoration of this piece was conducted by Dave Beck. 43x42x31 inches.
