White Slip and Scraffito Decorated Wedding Presentation Dish. Central design of a two headed Distilfink with heart body done in blue, green, black and cream scales or feathers. Made for: "Samuel Vance, Jr. and Doris Margaret Webb, February 14, 1953." Border slogan reads: "Lieben und geliebt zu werden, ist die Groste Freud auf Erden." Back of dish bears translation: "To love and to be loved is the greatest joy on earth." Back also includes possible signature, "P.S. Drumm, 1953." 10"dia. Condition: Good, no damage.
