Jonestown, Lebanon Co., PA Early 19th Century Paint Decorated Blanket Chest with original surface. Brown stippled ground with triple 'tombstone' and polychrome diamond banded borders. Dovetailed construction, molded lid with interior till, shaped wrought iron strap hinges with penny ends, box lock, molded and stepped base with three split lip molded dovetailed drawers and dovetailed bracket feet, 29" h. x 51 1/2" w. x 22" d. Condition: good with a couple of age cracks and with most of paint off lid, otherwise normal wear.
