Two Color Wool on Cotton Coverlet. Red wool weft on white cotton warp. Both fringed. Large main field of quatrefoil of roses and foliate wreathes. No central medallion. Border composed of opposing birds with alternating trees. Outside border of eight part stars. Weavers corner block identification: "Andre Kump, Hanover(PA.) 1841." Owners name: "E. Bachman." 92"l. X 85"w. Condition: Good with light use wear. No holes.
