Three Color Wool on Cotton Coverlet. Red and blue wool weft on white cotton warp. Fringed on three sides. Large main field of quatrefoil of roses and sixteen point. No central medallion. Border composed of opposing eagles alternating with trees. Outside border of eight part stars. Weavers corner block identification: "A. Landes, Manheim(PA.), 1837." 96"l. X 80"w. Condition: Good with light use wear. No holes.
