Four Color Wool on Cotton Coverlet. Red, green, and blue wool weft on white cotton warp. Designs in field include floral and foliate quatrefoil, and different designs of snowflakes. Border composed of buildings, flowers and trees. Center seam from narrow loom. Fringe on three sides with hemmed header. Corner legend: "M. Hoke, York, PA. 1842"(maker) and "S. Emig" (owner) with a border stating: "Style Patent." 100"l. X 88"w. Condition: Good with little use wear.
