Country Landscape, Watercolor on Paper. Signed by "Wm. Swift Daniell" in lower right corner. The artist was born in San Francisco in 1865 and spent his life working in California and died in Los Angeles in 1933. Studied in Paris at the Academies Julian and Delecluse and with Jean Paul Laurens. He showed on both coasts favoring Cape Cod in the East. Mounted in a reeded and gilded wood frame with white linen liner with gilt fillet: 9 1/2"h. X 13 1/2"w. sight and 20 1/2"h. X 24 1/2"w. overall. Condition: Good, no damage.
