The Oliver Chilled Plow Color Lithographic Trade Poster. Unusual early image with a black farmer, friends and folk rejoicing over the new tool. Two animal team is of a cow and a donkey. Stern wheel steamboat plying a river in very flat landscape, probably Louisiana. Mounted in a reeded wood frame: 20"h. X 26 1/4"w. sight and 23 1/2"h. X 29 1/2"w. overall. Condition: Fair. Restored tears and in painted losses around perimeter of piece.
