Watercolor Decorated Printed Taufschein in Frame. Central tablet printed in German for the Daniel Ludwig family and dated 1846. Printed in Reading by Johann Ritter and Company. Cherub at top with red spots and sash; angels with green and red spots, brown wings and cloud; birds on branch in blue and orange and red and yellow. Floated in frame, document: 16"h. X 12 3/4"w. and frame: 20"h. X 17 1/4"w. overall. Condition: Edges rough with clipped corners, small losses; also a tape stained tear in center approx. 8"l.
