Folk Portrait of Woman, Pastel on Paper. Dress would indicate first half of 19th century origin. In addition dust cover on back is a page from the "Aurora and Pennsylvania Gazette", dated Oct. 1828. Mounted in black painted wood frame under old glass: 17 1/4"h. X 13 1/4"w. sight and 20 3/4"h. X 16 3/4"w. overall. Condition: Flaking, tears and stains.
