Condition/Details:This is a large folio of 64 beautiful plates of engravings done after famous works of many noted artists including Winslow Homer, Joseph Pennell, Rembrandt, Frederic Remington, Rousseau, and others. The artwork appeared over the past several decades in The Century Magazine and St. Nicholas, an affiliated children's magazine. The folio is lacking one plate, "A Negro of Morocco." The large hardcover folio is in excellent condition with some edge wear, all flaps intact. The plates are bright and clean, some creasing to a few edges.
