Condition/Details:This vintage printing of the Book of Mormon includes an extremely rare dustjacket. The jacket, itself an exciting find, is even more interesting due to its decoration. In addition to the standard title and publisher information, the front panel of the jacket bears an illustration of an American Indian and the words, "Whence Came The Red Man?" There appears to be no reference to this mysterious illustration and question anywhere in the volume. This edition was translated by Joseph Smith, and includes a laid-in postcard of a church, labeled "Temple, Kirtland, O." The book, bound in black cloth, is in excellent condition, intact and clean, with light edge wear to the dustjacket.
