The work is well illustrated with artwork, maps, and many photographs of historic buildings and beautiful landscapes. The volume also includes a fold-out map of Oregon showing the routes of Lewis and Clark, the Astor Party, and the Oregon Trail. The book is in excellent condition with light wear outside and a crease to the spine. The inside is pristine, tightly bound, bright and clean.
