Condition/Details:This is a fabulous antique map of London in 1836, complete with its original slipcase. The beautiful map of several paper squares is linen-backed for easy folding, and as such, has been kept in excellent condition over the years. The map displays what appears to be each individual building in the city, and includes color distinctions of major streets, districts of the city, parks, and the Thames River. The cardboard slipcase, while bearing some wear, is miraculously intact and still durable. This is an exciting collectible piece and historical reference.
