Condition/Details:This is a wonderful antique guide book to the wide range of birds of North America. The landmark text includes many engraving illustrations of the birds at the chapter heads. The book is in wonderful condition for its age, bound in full leather, with some chipping to the spine, and a small piece of the spine label detached but included. The binding and hinges are intact, and the pages are generally bright and clean, with a bit of scattered foxing.
