1843 Leather Family Bible LOOMIS Gang New York

b>Condition/Details:Hardcover leatherbound Bible, this was found among the books in an Upstate New York estate. There are several family names written on the prelims (some we are unable to decipher) including ‘Brown’ and ‘Loomis’. This Bible may have belonged to the infamous “Loomis Gang” family. That would be an interesting irony, given their legacy. The binding is strong, the covers are securely attached, there are some loose pages and a run of approximately 20 pages that we know are lacking, there may be others.
