Condition/Details: This lot includes some exciting ephemera from the town of Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania. Included are two softcover volumes: “The Adirondacks of Pennsylvania,” printed c1900, with local history, many early photographs, and period advertisements for area hotels and railways; and “Picturesque Eagles Mere,” printed c1920, with many more period photographs focused on the lake and the outdoors. There is also a series of approximately twenty early postcards of scenes of Eagles Mere, many of which have been color tinted. Also included is “A Centennial Celebration: Eagles Mere Remembers 1898,” a recent printing of historic photographs of the town. Generally these items are in great condition, with wear and notable cover loss to the “Adirondacks of Pennsylvania” text.
