Christo (American, b. 1935) and Jeanne-Claude (American, 1935-2009)

Two Images: Plates 1 and 7 from WRAPPED MONUMENT TO VITTORIO EMANUELE, 1975, edition of 75 (Hovdenakk, 43). The former numbered and signed "59/75 Christo" in pencil within the image c.r., both identified on labels from the Obelisk Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Offset lithographs on paper, sheet sizes 28 x 21 3/8 in. (71.1 x 54.4 cm), framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frames.

Condition: Both sheets are fully visible, and both are signed. The sheet for the vertical image measures 27 3/4 x 21 3/4 inches, and has a collage element to the lower part of the composition; the horizontal is slightly smaller at 21 1/2 x 27 3/4inches. Both may be very subtly toned. Although they have not been removed from their frames, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
