"Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985)

Two Images from the DESSINS POUR LA BIBLE Series, text by Gaston Bachelard: Adam et Eve chassés du Paradis terrestre and Rachel dérobe les Idoles de son Père, 1960, published by Verve, volume X, numbers 37-38 (Mourlot, 237 & 242; Cramer 42). Unsigned, both with lithographs on verso. Color lithographs on paper, sight sizes 13 1/2 x 10 in. (34.2 x 25.4 cm), framed.
Condition: Possible subtle toning, not examined out of frames.
