Max Papart, French, 1911-1994. Carborundum gravure with an aquatint medallion center of Abstract numbered 26 of 150 and signed front, center Max Papart. Carborundum printmaking was invented in the US during the 1930’s and allows the artist to work on a large scale. Measures: 40” High x 30” Wide + 5” mat and frame (102 cm. x 76.8 cm. 13 2 cm.)
