Stunning hand crafted Chinese carved jade screen having applied carved stones to depict fruit on vines and branches. Jade plaques are mounted with amethyst, lapis lazuli, jade, carnelian and goldstone. Plaques are set in a wooden frame having four panels. Each panel is set with one large and two smaller rectangular plaques. On each panel, a relief carved turquoise floral stone set. At the top of each panel is a stunning relief carved amethyst. Magnificent translucent pale green jade specimens. 19th century. Measures 12 1/4" height x 15 3/4" width (31.1cm x 40cm). Total weight of 862 grams.
