Novaya Zhisn' zabytykh narodov [New Life for Forgotten Peoples], a poster by an anonymous artist. Published by AKhRR Publishing, Moscow, 1930. 69 x 53 cm.

With its professionally executed design, nearly comical in its absurdity, this poster could easily attain a cult status. The poster caption comes from Stalin's 1925 speech that emphasized two key points: the Socialist state will not reject the idea of nationality, but would instead work on creating a better life for the "forgotten peoples" of the Tsarist Russia; and the Socialist state will also encourage liberation movements in the colonies of the capitalist countries.
