Published by OGIZ-IZOGIZ, Moscow-Leningrad, 1934. 95 x 63 cm.

This poster hails the successful evacuation of the Chelyuskin Arctic Expedition members by Soviet polar aviators. News of the daring rescue made the front pages of newspapers all over the world, and the aviators became the first recipients of the newly introduced Hero of the Soviet Union award.
