Borites' za vysokoye masterstvo v lyzhnom sporte [Strive to Highest Mastery in the Sport of Skiing], a poster by Pyotr Karachentsov (1907-1998, Meritorious Artist of the Russian Federation). Published by IZOGIZ, Moscow-Leningrad, 1954. 73 x 53 cm.

Another skiing-themed poster, this time dealing with the sport of ski jumping. Pyotr Karachentsov was a student of D. Moor, and started producing posters in the early 1920s. For an example of his work from the 1930s, see lot 66.
