Slava pokoritelyam kosmosa! [Glory to the Conquerors of Space!], a space-themed poster designed by the cosmonaut Alexei Leonov (b. 1934, famous for making the first space walk) and by Andrei Sokolov (b. 1931, People's Artist of the Russian Federation). Published by Izobrazitel'noye Iskusstvo, Moscow 1971, 93 x 59 cm.

Leonov is a gifted amateur painter, while Sokolov is deeply interested in space exploration, the main topic of his art. This poster is a product of their collaboration, which has produced several paintings and the 1967 art album Zhdite nas, zvezdy [Wait for Us, Stars], published in Moscow in 1967. An interesting piece of trivia: Sokolov's was the first painting ever flown into space.
