William Edmondson (1874-1951, Tennessee) Double Seated Figure Garden Sculpture. Wonderful folk carved stone sculpture of 2 people seated side by side, they have petite faces, a classic detail of this artist, the one figure has an arm across the body and left hand in her lap, the second figure has the right arm across the back of the first figure and left hand in her lap. The 2 heads have been broken and repaired at the neck and the piece has been stored outside and acquired a blanket of moss. 26 in. high
