HOBBS' NO. 76 / VIKING WATER PITCHERS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, each on three feet, one example with face under spout and on handle, with scallop and point skirt; the other lacking upper faces and with a plain skirt. Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 8 3/4" HOA, 6" DOA, and 9 1/2" HOA, 5 3/4" DOA.
Provenance: From a Shenandoah Valley collection.

First example with a piece of undisolved metal to one prism, causing a 1/4" crack and a bruise, the other with minor roughness to one prism and a flake to one foot.
