Antique French Champlevé Onyx Mounted Clock

This antique French crystal regulator, or four glass, is simply stunning. The enamel dial is decorated with floral swags and mounted with a rhinestone or diamante bezel. The movement is stamped Made in France, and has the Medal De Argent stamp. The gong strike sounds the hours, as well as the half hours, and has a very nice deep tone. Top and bottom of the clock are mounted with green onyx. The two front columns and all four feet are decorated with champlevé enamel work. The pendulum has a wonderful enamel head and should portrait of a young woman, which is also mounted with rhinestone/diamante. Measures approx. 12 1/2"H X 5"D X 7 1/2"W.
