FRANZ MOORMANS (DUTCH 1831-1873), DUTCH SCHOOL, OILS ON BOARD, 2 PCS. 19TH C 4 1/2" X 3 1/2":depicts a young boy in period dress playing a violin and other depicts a seated man also in period dress, smoking a clay pipe. Both signed one lower right and other lower left. Gilt wood and gesso frames (one damaged) with red velvet matting. Plate inscribed F. Moormans on bottom of each frame; one having type written information on the artist on verso.
