J.L. DUNNING FEDERAL GILT WOOD & EGLOMISE BANJO CLOCK, C. 1820, H 39", W 10":Having a knob form finial, with further decoration of fluting and spheres at the base; gilt overall. The two eglomise panels have motifs of fruits and an urn and an American ship. The clock's face has black Roman Numerals and "Warranted by J.L. Dunning" marking it. Includes a pendulum and key.

Working order is not guaranteed. Some wear to the gilt decoration. Shows age. RG The throat and box have likely been retouched. Possibly the dial has been repainted. It is uncertain as to whether the hands are original. EG
