E.N. WELCH ROSEWOOD STEEPLE CLOCK, MID TO LATE 19TH CENTURY, H 19", L 10", D 4":Having a rosewood veneer case with a stencil decorated glass door which depicts clothed cats chasing after a mouse. Includes a pendulum.
Condition reportLosses to the veneer at the top, a 2" section at one side, and also along the base. The finials have been refinished, as has the case, and one is nicked at the tip. Some mold evident to the wood; some nicks and gouges evident at the sides. RG
