AMERICAN ANTIQUE, HAND ENGRAVED POWDER HORN L 13":Engraved in the scrimshaw style and inscribed: "Captain John Sutton, Yorktown Camp"; with carved map of the Chesapeake Bay area with names and locations of forts. Carved wood base plug with brass nails for securing plug to horn. Attached to the base with a brass nail is a heart shape tang made of horn with holes for securing a sling (not included) and inscribed: "1773" : L 12 1/2";

missing the plug for the spout, cannot guarantee age of piece, does not have a shoulder sling, GA.
