CHINESE HAND PAINTED SEATED FEMALE ANCESTRAL PORTRAIT, 19TH C., 57" X 30" SIGHT:Watercolor and gouache with gilt embellishment on paper; unsigned; framed under acrylic.. Ex. coll. Chuck Muer and passed along via deaths in the family to the current owner. Inscribed on verso of framing, "To Chuck & Betty with Love Misia & Pierre XMAS 79".

As viewed under room light in the unopened frame: background creases in UR; scratched (probably) or creases or repaired/torn in LC; ebonized wood molding is as is.
