Black Forest coat hook, late 19th c., carved in the form of a fox with red glass eyes. 14”h.

There is a possible repair to neck- very hard to tell as it looks fine from one side and on the other, could be shellac/varnish line (piece has heavy application) or possible repair. There are a couple of very small chips in the wood at the “knees” where the horns are fitted to the wood body, no evidence of any worm or insect damage, the glass eyes are dirty, but not chipped or cracked.
