Imperial Russian silver standing figural hippopatamus salt cellar having cabochon cut ruby jewels set to eyes and gold wash to bowl. Bowl has stylized laurel leaf border design. Holds town marks and 84 silver purity marks to bowl interior. Also holds Michael Perchin Cyrillic I.P. workmaster marks to bowl interior. Measures 2 1/2" length x 1 1/2" height (6.3cm x 3.8cm). Total weight of 1.9ozt/61 grams.
