STAFFORDSHIRE BLUE TRANSFER PLATE BY JOS. STUBBS, C. 1800, DIA 10":Transfer-printed in light blue with two figures along a stream with watering cows and calves, ruins in the mid and background, within a bold floral border. Impressed "Stubbs" on the reverse (see additional photo) for Joseph Stubbs of Burslem, 1790-1829. Property of Virginia McMillan Lambrecht, Grosse Pointe Shores.
