Pair of Gilt metal Vases and an Archaic style Vase, Japan, 19/20th century, tall elongated shape with gilt and shakudo decoration of birds and flowering branches, elephant lugs, base with five feet, ht. 14 5/8 in.; China, 20th century, of baluster shape, taotie decoration, ht. 11 in.

Condition: Tiny chip on the base rim to the archaic style vase, the pair of vases in good condition with no evidence of chips, cracks, or repairs.
