Description Circa 1510. German. Classic fluted decoration of a Maximilian suit. Beautiful fluting enhanced with incised line engraving. Very large period repair, along with several smaller repairs. Outer surface is in good condition. The inner repairs are so well done they cannot be detected on the outer surface. Lamination layers are showing through in many places. Generally, light to moderate pitting with small areas of heavy pitting.
Condition (Good - Very Good). Size 21 - 1/2" L.
