Description Circa 1475. German or Italian. One-piece bowl is rounded at front, coming to a slight tail at rear. Shows great wear and use, indicative of its age. Two cracks emanating upward from the brim, one at the point of the tail. In one spot in the bowl there are four tiny holes. One large dent at top rear of bowl, all aged the same as the rest of the metal surfaces. Obvious period battle damage and holes all the way around to accommodate chainmail. Light to heavy pitting overall.
