Description School: Western Pennsylvania. Circa 1850 to 1870. Overall length: 55 – ¾”. Caliber: .30. Barrel length: 40 – ¾’. Octagonal barrel. Percussion mechanism. No patchbox. Curly maple stock. No carvings and no inlays. This half-stock is also completely “untouched” and is a “plain Jane” model, devoid of any ornamentation with a small amount of curl in the maple stock.
Condition (Good).
