Description Ca. 1882
Each base extensively chased and embossed with rocaille work and seaweed, one with tritons and seahorses, the other with mermaids, below a baluster stem chased with swirls and holding nine tentacle-like candle arms ending in sockets with removable drip pans, all on a spot-hammered ground. Both apparently in good condition.
H: 16 in; weight: 165 oz. Size Each: 15 - 1/2" T.
ADDITIONAL INFO: One candelabra with the mermen and seahorses has cracks and grey solder repairs to both the tops and bottoms on most of the tentacle-like candle arms.
