Description 1798-1809, 1st standard marks
Baluster form with a domed hinged lid chased with leafage below a floral finial and shell thumbpiece, with a turned wood side-mounted handle and on three shaped legs with pad feet. Marked under base. Lid uneven; feet slightly uneven; minor dents to body; finial bent; maker's mark unclear- struck over another; handle unscrews.
Height: 7-1/4 in; weight: 11.4 oz (without handle). Size 7 - 1/4" T.
