Kentucky, ca 1818-1825, a tall case clock in cherry with mixed wood secondary, possibly the shop of Elijah Warner (Lexington, w.1818-1829), the bonnet with a broken scrolled pediment, bull's eye terminals and urn finials, the painted dial with moon face, the clock with brass 8-day movement and lead-driven weights; ht. 95, wd. 18, dp. 9.75 in. Provenance: Property of a Lady, Louisville, Kentucky Condition reportFace repainted. Urns probably replaced. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
