Victorian Chinoiserie Hand Fans 

English, 19th century, a pair of black lacquered hand fans with scalloped edges, each having turned handles, one side with an Orientalist processional scene in reserve, on verso ,an Orientalist figural scene in reserve, all on black ground; lg. 15.25 in. 

Provenance: Property of Caswell and Sara Lane

Wear and repair to lacquer and handle. Cracks and surface scratches. One handle very fragile.
