Condition reportRaymond Pitet (Deauville 1872 - 1959 Neuilly-sur-Seine) founded the Federation Nationale de Sauvetage in France and was the first to organise the training of lifeguards. For that purpose, in 1958, he created the dummy for the trainees to practise on.
