A gilt key wind pair case repousse pocket watch signed Gusterm, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral markers, outer minute track, ornately decorated case, the outer with scene in relief of lady at rest with musicians and page, the inner with stylised face and pierced scroll and foliate decoration, fitted with a signed frosted gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced silver balance cock and repeating complication. Outer case diameter 47mm.Although signed "Gusterm, London", the lack of records for the name and style of the movement hints to a continental origin for this watch.
